Dear sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the local government of Kathmandu valley on shortage of drinking water.
Kathmandu is the capital city of our country Nepal. More than 4 million people live here. There is high demand of drinking water in the city. Local people have to buy expensive water jar and bottles for drinking as well as their daily works carried by water. People have to stay in queue for more than 2-3 hours to take water in their vessel. It has been very critical situation for the public here . Shortage of drinking water is causing severe problems here.
Most people rely on monsoon rain. They collect rain water and use purifying them. Nepal is rich in water resources but the capital of our country is facing such a big issue. It is not good news to hear.
I request the concerned authority who are working on this sector to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Respected Sir ,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authority and general public about shortage of drinking water.
Kathmandu is the most developed city of Nepal. Also, it is the capital city of Nepal . People from different parts of the country come here to take advantage of better facilities and services. People from other countries also come Nepal for visiting as a tourists. Here ,we have serious problem related to drinking water. The supply of water to general public is not sufficient. We get water in our taps for only few hours or not even that. Most people are forced to buy water jars to fulfill their needs. Nepal is rich is water resources but still we are unable to eradicate the problem of drinking water in the main city of the country.
It is great responsibility of everybody residing in Kathmandu to use water carefully. We should not waste water. There are someone who don’t get chance to enjoy the facility of pure drinking water. I hope everyone living in Kathmandu will read this and think about it.
