Subject: Problem of traffic jam in our locality
Dear sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of concerned authority and public about traffic jam prevalent in our area.
Problem of traffic jam has become common in junctions of Kathmandu. There are many reasons. Firstly the population of the city has increased as people from different places of Nepal come to capital of Nepal for study, jobs and businesses. The number of vehicles have also rised in the same ratio as of population. Thousands of students move to their own schools and colleges in the morning . Moreover, officers also are in hurry. The buses and motorcycles block the way because of which we reach our school lately everyday.
We students always miss our first period because of traffic jam. Moreover, drivers don’t follow the traffic rules. They cross the red light and accidents take place. I want to draw the attention of local government and concerned authority to find the solution of this problem.
