My village, Pokhariya is located very near to the border of Nepal and India. It takes nearly a half hour to go to Biratnagar in bike from my village. My village is small and greenery. I love my village very much. There are about 500 people living in my village . The most people of our village are farmers. They grow variety of crops. They really work hard in their field.
If I talk about infrastructures of my village , I would say it is a good enough . The road is black topped and there is facility of electricity. The government school is very near to my village. There also lies one private school near to my village. I love the atmosphere of my village. The fresh air makes my mind fresh . My eyes get relaxation after looking the greenery that surrounds my village.

My village is not so big. It is small and beautiful. The greenery around my village will attract your eyes. I often feel relaxed when I come to my village. I feel boring sometimes in city but not here in my village. I love my village because the atmosphere here is pure. I get to breathe completely pure air and enjoy the scenery.
Most people in our village are farmers. Also, there are some people who do businesses. They own few lands and work in their field season wise. Currently the fields are full of green paddy. They have planted it one month ago. People of our village are very polite to others. They respect and treat well to guests as well as their own relatives. People here enjoy a lot in feasts and festivals. We celebrate here New Year , Holi, Dashain and Tihar with great joy. They are our festivals and we celebrate them with great joy. People of our village help each other in need. They stand as a backbone for others when they are in trouble.
